Olise to Miss Start of Next Season

 Chrystal Palace winger Michael Olise is reportedly set to miss the start of the 2023-2024 season after he sustained a hamstring injury on international duty. Michael Olise has been representing France at the Under 21 European Championships in Georgia and Romania, but his tournament lasted just two games.


The Frenchman was forced off in the second group game against Norway, less than 10 minutes after scoring the winner in the 1-0 victory. Michael Olise had to be helped off the pitch after picking up an injury in a collision with Norway goalkeeper named Kristoffer Klaeson.



Subsequent tests and assessments have revealed that Michael Olise has suffered a grade three tear the most severe category of hamstring injuries. The recovery time is expected to be around three months, which will rule Michael Olise out for the start of the 2023 to 2024 season.



Michael Olise France Under-21 teammates showed their support in their final group game against  Switzerland when Amine Gouri celebrate his opener by holding up a shirt with Michael Olise name and number.


Olise who is 21 year old enjoyed a successful 2022-23 campaign for Chrystal Palace, scoring two goals and providing 11 assists I'm 37 top flight appearances.


West Ham Monitoring Goto

West Ham are monitoring Japanese teenage prospect named Keisuke Goto. The exciting 18 year old center forward from Jubilo Iwata is 6ft 3ins tall and was due to represent his country at the World U20 Championships but for injury. Keisuke Goto stands out with his  physical attributes. Despite his height,he is pick up possession before breaking into the box.



He has scored five goals so far this season in 17 appearances and made one assist. Capped throughout his youth career by his country,he is being tipped to make a breakthrough into the full squad over the next year if he continues his progression.


Everton have also watched Goto but there's particularly strong interest from Sevilla, where former Leeds sporting up position, Italian Giants Juventus and Feyenoord. Keisuke Goto could be brought into the UK under the GBE rule where young players of exceptional talent that don't qualify to work here under the normal points system are given exception.


West Ham are Keen to bolster their squad with younger players and want to add height, particularly with Declan Rice bound for Arsenal while they could also lose Thilo Kehrer.

Manchester United agreed £60 million fee

 Manchester United have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Mason Mount for £60 million.



Following talks over the previous 24 hours, the two clubs have found a resolution to an impasse in talks.


The deal is understood to be £60 million inclusive of ads ons.

The add-ons are understood to be achievable. He will now undergo a medical and are personal terms before signing a long term deal at Old Trafford, which is understood to be a five year deal.




According to report, Mount had emerged as Erik ten Hag's priority target this summer.

The Red Devil's have been chasing Mount for most of the Window but had three bids rejected the third of which came last week at around £55 million before United walked  away from the negotiating table.



United were reluctant to pay over the odds for a player who had one year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge. But they have now agreed to pay an initial fee of £55 million with £5  million in add-ons.

Arsenal Agreed Fee With West Ham

 Arsenal have reportedly made the breakthrough in negotiations with West Ham United for midfielder Declan Rice.

Ever since Hammers chairman named David Sullivan acknowledged after the Europe Conference League final that the club captain would be available for the right price, speculation regarding the England's internationals future has been constant.



Report have frequently indicated that this preference is a switch to Arsenal, holding a desire to remain in London over relocating to the North West.

However,a move to Manchester City had become more likely over the past week with the premier league runnes up struggling to finalize a quick deal with their West Ham counterparts.



Manchester City, the recently crowed treble winners, have looked to match Arsenal all the way, offering similar terms but over a more favourable structure for West Ham.

It's emerged early this week that Man City had made the decision to withdraw from the race to sign the 24 years old, leaving Arsenal with a free run at Rice.



According to the Athletic and backed up by other outlets, Arsenal have now agreed a £10 million fee ahead of completing a British record deal.


Arsenal's hierarchy are said to have indicated that they are prepared to pay a guaranteed £100 million for Rice with a further £5 million coming in addition.

TINUBU Also Aproves Dissolution of Board of Federal Government Parastatals, Agencies, Institutions And Government Owned Companies

 The immediate dissolution of the Governing Boards of all Federal Government Parastatals, Agencies, Institutions And Government Owned Companies which does not, however, affect Board, Commissions and Councils listed in the third schedule, part 1, Section 153(I) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended.



In view of this development and until such a time new Boards are constituted, the Chief executive Officers of the Parastatals, Agencies, Institutions, And Government Owned Companies are directed to refer matters requiring the attention of their Boards to the President, through the Parmanent Secretaries of their respective supervisory Ministries and Offices.



Parmanent Secretaries are directed, also,to route such correspondences to Mr President through the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.


All the Ministries, Departments and Agencies are to ensure compliance to the provision of this directive which took effect from Friday 16th June,2023.



Permanent Secretaries are particularly directed to inform the Chief Executive Officers of their respective Ministries/Offices for immediate compliance.

 Late Gen. Murtala Ramat Muhammed was born in November 8,1938.

He died in February 13,1976.

Late Gen. Murtala was born in Kurawa quarters of Kano City.

He was the 3rd military Head of State, starting from July 29,1975 to February 13,1976.


In his shorts reign,he reformed the Civil Service; He created about 7 States, he set a committee on a new FCT and among other things,he set agenda for a return to Civilian rule.


Murtala was assassinated in an abortive coup led by Cool.

The coup was foild because the plotters missed Obasanjo- Mohammeds 2nd in command.

 The immediate past Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike,has disclosed some life threatening scenarios he kept as secrets during his eight year tenure.


The former Governor named Nyesom Wike, in a special Thanksgiving service on Sunday organized by his family at the St.Peters Deanery,  Rumuepirikom, Obio Akpor, revealed that he was Poisoned at the Secretariat of the people Democratic party in December 2018.



He said the poison ravaged his internal organs, affecting his liver and kidneys and almost killed him but for God's interventions.


Hundreds of dignitaries,who attended the service, listened in shock as the former Governor disclosed his kept secrets.

 Gen Yakubu Gowan was born in October 19,1933.

Yakubu Gowan hails from Luri, Kanke L.G.A, Plateau State.

He joined the Nigerian Army in 1954.

Position he held: He was a Military Head of State since 29th July, 1966 to 29th July,1975.



His Administration experienced Nigerian Civil War that lasted for 30 months 1967-1970.

On 5th may,1967, he divided Nigeria into 12 States from the 4 former regions.

He was overthrown when he was attending OAU summit in Kampala in a military coup led by Murthala Mohammed.

 Late Major Gen.Joshua Umunnakwe Thomas Aguiyi Ironsi, Was born in March 3,1924.


He died in July 29, 1966.

He was born in Umuahia - Ibeku, Abia State.


Position he held: He was the first Military Head of State in January 15,1966 to July 29,1966.


He was overthrown and killed in a counter coup by a group of army officers who revolted against his government.

U-20 WAFU:NFF CONFIRMS NIGERIA WITHDRAWAL

 Nigeria is going to be part of the West African Football Union U-20 B Men's tournament when it commences in July, according to report.


The General Secretary of Nigeria Football Federation, Sanusi Mohammed confirmed the most populuos African countries withdrawal to bsnsports on Friday afternoon that the World Cup quarter finalist will not participate in the tournament slated for next month.


Yes, it's true, Nigeria has withdrawn from U-20 WAFU B.Sanusi confirmed to BSNS Sports.

Speaking on why Nigeria withdrew, the General Secretary said, " the players just returned from the World Cup and went home to rest.

We can't recall them now to embark on another tournament that will not serve as qualifier for any competition.


The players are human and need to rest.

WAFU had on Monday 17th April,2023 drawn Nigeria alongside Benin Republic and Togo in group B.

This means, both Togo and Benin irrespective of the result after their group B encounter between the two countries will qualify for the semi Final  of the competition.
